COVID-19 Update (5/16/20)
|
Renewal has been closed to seeing clients in person for about 2 months and our therapists, other than massage therapists, have been able to utilize online counseling and have continued to operate as "normal" as possible. We thank all of our current clients for being patient through all the transitions.
We are still in the process of determining our plan moving forward. In the meantime, our massage therapists, per our governor's orders, are beginning to work again. They are going above and beyond the precautions from the state and the CDC to make certain that we can provide a safe but relaxing experience to our clients. If you are comfortable doing so you can contact us to schedule with one of our three massage therapists. We could all use some relaxation right about now. You can see our Massage COVID Policy below. Our mental health therapists, life coach, and elder care specialist are each making individual decisions about beginning to do in person therapy. We are all being cautious and heeding the warning from the governor about continuing to work from home if possible. For most, online counseling seems to be working fairly well so all of our therapists have chosen to stay online only until at least June 1. For information about each therapist's availability., please contact the individual therapist or contact the office by phone (317-730-5155) or email (hello@myrenewalcounseling.com). |
We have our COVID-19 guidelines (Client Policies and Massage Policies) in place for when we are back in the office so things will definitely look and work a little differently than before. If the state's reopening plan goes well, most of our therapists plan to begin sometimes in June although it might be later in the month.
Several of our therapists were already utilizing online counseling prior to the virus. Many of our clients are enjoying this option and so some therapists may continue to offer the option indefinitely to those who need it on occasion or prefer it regularly. We will update things as they come and we hope you are all staying safe and well! Thank you for trusting us with your care, Amy Harshman MA, LMFT and the Renewal Staff |
