Anxiety Counseling

Loosen the grip of anxiety...

Everyone experiences anxiety from time to time, such as worry over an upcoming work responsibility, school exam or public performance. Anxiety disorders, however, are marked by persistent worry and racing thoughts that become debilitating, interfering with everyday functioning.

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the United States, affecting adult and adolescent populations. Anxiety is often coupled with sleeplessness, depression, panic attacks, racing thoughts, headaches or other physical issues. It can run in families and be a lifelong challenge that spills over into all facets of life, from relationships and parenting to the workplace.

The good news is that anxiety disorders are manageable, and our therapists have many tools to help their clients lessen the impact of anxiety. Managing the disorder means learning to use those tools and strategies to help "ride the wave" of anxiety rather than being overwhelmed by it.

Our counselors will help you develop a personal strategy that enables you to experience relief and change.
