When your children need some help...
Sometimes you know your kids are going through difficulty but you're not sure how to help. Maybe you can identify what is bothering them—a recent separation or divorce, a family member or loved one is ill, the pressure of social media, or attending to a new school. Or maybe you're simply witnessing the aftermath: falling grades, bad attitudes, frequent outbursts, or even physical symptoms such as stomach pain and headaches. Perhaps it's time to seek professional help. Our goal is to help your child find a safe place to heal. We will help your child identify their feelings, express them appropriately, and learn better ways of coping. We work to strengthen the bonds between parent and child so that you become or remain their safe place and we are no longer needed. |
