Jenni is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with several years of experience in the mental health field. She received a bachelor’s degree of psychology with a Christian counseling cognate and a master's degree in professional counseling, both from Liberty University.
She is also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is EMDR trained as a means of reaching and helping children, adolescents, and adults move forward in healing from traumatic events. Jenni started her career in community mental health, and during that time she helped start and run two school-based therapy programs which allowed students and families access to quality services without experiencing the barriers of transportation or time off work or school. She believes in the value of a strengths and resilience-based approach, and specializes in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment issues, oppositional defiant disorder, and issues surrounding parent/child relationships. She has a passion for helping people find a way to voice internal struggles that were previously unspeakable and to find freedom and growth moving forward. Jenni believes that the therapeutic space should be warm and inviting, creating a safe place to explore and facilitate growth, and integrating faith as the client desires. In working together, Jenni believes that healing and wholeness are likely outcomes. Specialties
