Rebecca graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Education. During her career as a teacher, Rebecca recognized the growing mental health challenges facing her students. After 30 years in education, Rebecca returned to school to earn a Master of Arts in Mental Health and Addiction from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007. Rebecca continued to teach at the high school level and counsel adolescents until 2020 when she joined Renewal Counseling.
Rebecca is also trained to serve those who have faced traumatic events. She is certified in EMDR and trained in Brainspotting. Using these methods she is able to help people access, process and overcome a variety of issues. Rebecca believes in meeting her clients with compassion and acceptance as she guides them toward becoming the best version of themselves. Clients:
