Moving through the pain of loss.
If you’ve lost someone you love, you know grief. Whether the loss was sudden or expected, the pain is intense. Many people experience intense sorrow or sadness; some describe an anger so deep it frightens them; others feel only numbness. The pain is often continuous, made worse by the awareness that tomorrow will bring more grief. Even with so many self-help books describing a multitude of steps and stages, it can be hard to find our way out of such suffering. There is no simple formula or one-size-fits-all plan to work through grief counseling. It's different for each person. We can help you understand how to deal with loss in a personal one-on-one way. Grieving cannot be rushed and it is not our job to make you “get over it.” But we will be present with you, wherever you are in the grieving process, and help you walk through it. |
