Hollie Shigley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Master of Social Work from Boise State University and Bachelor of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has received advanced training in perinatal mental health from Postpartum Support International. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies and tailors her treatment to fit each client. Her personal mission is to help each client find healing, discover their true identity, learn their strengths, and use their strengths to have the best life possible.
She specializes in parent training and in working with children, adolescents, and women struggling with perinatal depression & anxiety (PMAD).
She has a heart for working with moms who are pregnant or have a new baby and are struggling to find a “new normal” amidst many changes. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs, and it can truly feel overwhelming. She is here to come alongside you to help you find new rhythms, coping skills, and strategies in your parenting journey.
She also has a passion for working with children and adolescents to help them find their unique identities and strengths. She has worked in the school system for several years and that has provided her with a unique outlook on how to navigate and incorporate strategies in the day-to-day struggles they face. When working with children, she likes to partner with parents in helping their child during their therapy journey. She believes each child has a unique set of strengths and can learn to tap into those strengths to overcome the challenges they are facing.
